About Premdhara Gurukul
In yoga, we refer to breathing as pranayama. Prana is a Sanskrit word that means life force and ayama means extending or stretching. Thus, the word “pranayama” translates to the control of life force.
But the point worth noting is that unless you have an experienced Sadguru to guide you through the technique, its like riding on a knifes edge. The wrongly practiced technique can result in severe health problems and harm you more than benefit you.
So its better to get the complete knowledge of all the asanas and breathing exercises from Sadguru and then take that path.Trust me this kind of mind body training from an enlightened saint will give a boost to the life force inside you and eliminate all blockages in your chakras.
Its said that the breath and mind are interconnected. So the more deeply you breathe the more peaceful you feel.If something is bothering you and you start focusing on your breath ,the mind stops for a moment and you feel deep peace.
Gurukul means Teachers extended family. That's exactly what we want in our school. We don't want the kids to be students but our extended family. We want them to reside as equals without any discrimination of caste, creed or color.
In the state of Gujarat, certain tribes that reside in the depths of forests don't have proper knowledge and contacts with the mainstream society. Our mission is to empower them with a blend of balanced education that focuses on academics, cultural importance of their community and communication skill set to represent themselves in the outside world.
